Category: Information

As the world turns, so does the commercialization of Ruby and Rails that have been going on two-pronged approach with respect to the strategies startups in the IT field who focus on them have been targeting. This goes to show that there is money to be made in open-source, ruby being one of the earliest forms of frameworks for open-sourced development, has been embraced and loved by many of their sponsors for more commercialized use.
This may show the true strengths of Ruby which actually takes form in it’s robustness, compared to other platforms that are currently being used for development purposes. Life has been so greatly influenced by one of the biggest names in the social net, Twitter, that unbeknownst to most is actually based on ruby. One problem though, as evident in the mahy security issues the company has been subjected to, the responsibility lies on the programmer and nto the system for the framework as it is has some of the best security features, which they may have overlooked in the haste to develop and deploy the app beofre it had time to ripen in the test labs.
